Spelling bee is a competition where contestants are asked to spell English words. The concept is thought to have originated in the United States. Today, National Spelling Bee competitions for English are held in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New  Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Indonesia, India and Pakistan among others. There is no National Spelling Bee competition for English in Belarus yet, but the competition is traditionally held in our gymnasium. Let’s see which class is the strongest at spelling English words and who the Spelling Bee Champion is!
