Christmas is by far the most awaited holiday of the year, and it is good to start preparations almost a month before. There are just so many things that need to be done. For this reason, it is always a smart move to do something in advance so as to avoid the hustle and bustle of last minute preparations. What is worse is that there is really no one who will do this for you, and it is up to you to decide on whether or not you want a perfect Christmas.
No doubt it should be the biggest celebration of the year. For this reason, it is wise to compile a list of some of the most important things to do before Christmas. We remember failing to plan is planning to fail. So we made up our mind to get prepared, the sooner the better.
Here is our list of things we absolutely need to do before Christmas to ensure we’ll have the best holiday season ever:
- Take our family(or friends) Christmas photo
- Decorate a Christmas tree
- Listen to our favorite holiday songs
- Put up Christmas lights and decorate our houses and flats
- Drink some hot chocolate
- Watch our favourite Christmas movies
- Make Christmas treats
- Create some home made gifts for our relatives and friends
- Do something nice for someone
- Write Christmas cards
- Go on a sleigh ride
- Go snow skiing or snowboarding
- Buy stocking stuffers
- Play in the snow
- Walk around and sing carols
- Go ice skating
- Remind our friends and family how much we love them
- Make sure EVERY part of our houses and flats is decorated
- Rock around the Christmas tree
- Make a snowman
- Wait for Santa or Father Frost
We have alreadydone some things! On the 15th of December we got to know about Christmas traditions in different countries, filled Christmas cards with special greetings, crafted DIY Christmas decorations! It was real fun! But there are yet so many things left to do….
